Tarantino has penned The Adventures of Cliff Booth, with David Fincherdirecting, and the likes of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Elizabeth Debicki, Carla Gugino, and Scott Caan, featuring alongside Pitt. The Pulp Fiction director also produces the sequel, which debuts on November 25 on IMAX and moves to Netflix on December 23. But, to get you in the mood for more Tarantino, how about a film he not only wrote and produced, but also starred in?
This month, you can stream From Dusk Till Dawnon Paramount+. After special effects creator Robert Kurtzman wrote an initial 25-page story outline, Tarantino built the screenplay before handing over directing duties to Robert Rodriguez. This freed him up to star alongside George Clooney as the Gecko brothers, who find themselves stuck in a night-long vampire siege after escaping to Mexico. The film was a fair success with both critics and audiences, which then inspired a pair of sequels: From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money and From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman’s Daughter.

Although he is still actively involved in many projects, we will only see one more Tarantino-directed movie. This is because, as the man himself announced in November 2014, he would only direct ten movies. When accounting for Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 as one Bloody Affair, which Tarantino does, that means he has now directed nine feature film projects. With that in mind, the great director will want to make his last film count… unless he performs a U-turn on the idea eventually, which cannot be ruled out.
