The Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator have become more expensive to service, but if you take delivery of one of the off-roaders before the end of September, you’ll get five free workshop visits.
This special offer, however, applies only to new and demonstrator model year 2025 (MY25) examples of the Wrangler SUV and Gladiator ute.
It’s available until September 30, 2026, or while stocks last. Government and rental buyers are excluded.
Outside of this offer, Wrangler and Gladiator capped-price services are now $100 more expensive than before, following a price increase for vehicles purchased from July 1, 2026 onwards.
You’ll now pay $499 per visit for the first five services, up from $399 each. Service intervals remain 12 months or 20,000km, whichever comes first.
Jeep Australia announced various changes to its Wrangler and Gladiator earlier this year for MY26.
The MY26 Wrangler received price increases of $2000, though it gained a standard heavy-duty steel front bumper.
The MY26 Gladiator received standard remote start plus a pouch to put tools and bolts in when removing the roof and doors.
Both the updated Wrangler and Gladiator gained new quick-release door hinges, an available Goldilocks metallic yellow exterior finish, and Tungsten-coloured steering wheel stitching.
The Wrangler and Gladiator now account for two-thirds of Jeep’s local lineup, with the Compass no longer available and stock of the Grand Cherokee – axed last year – almost completely gone.
Wrangler sales in the first half of 2026 were down 8.6 per cent on the same period last year, with 201 examples reaching Australian buyers. Sales of the Gladiator were down more sharply, with a 56.3 per cent decline to 86 units.
Jeep Australia’s only other model at present is the electric Avenger light SUV, which sells in minuscule volumes.
There may be light at the end of the tunnel for Jeep dealers and enthusiasts in Australia, however, with the brand expected to launch a new medium-to-large SUV courtesy of its partnership with Chinese automaker Dongfeng.
This as-yet-unrevealed vehicle, designed by Jeep, has already been confirmed for the European market and is set to offer both electric and electrified powertrains.
Jeep announced earlier this year it would commence production in China of two new SUVs developed with Dongfeng in 2027, described as “initially two Jeep-branded off-road new energy vehicles for global markets”.
A spokesperson from the company’s local arm has said Jeep is “excited about the opportunities presented through Stellantis’ collaboration with Dongfeng and Tata, particularly for markets in APAC.
“These developments are an important part of Stellantis’ global product strategy, and we look forward to sharing more details for Australia in the future,” the spokesperson told CarExpert in May.
