For our last full controller review on TouchArcade, I’ve been using the Victrix Pro BFG Tekken 8 Rage Art Edition for PC and PlayStation across my Steam Deck, PS5, and PS4 Pro for over a month now. Before I interviewed PDP Victrix about the controller and arcade sticks, I was very curious about the controller for its modular nature and also because I’ve wanted to try out another “Pro” controller after adoring the Xbox Elite (1st generation) and DualSense Edge over the years. Victrix Pro BFG Tekken 8 Rage Art Edition Controller – what’s in the box Usually, controllers just…

Crimson Desert is a little over one week away from release, and developer Pearl Abyss has delivered the official, final list of specs for the game. The twist is that the specs not only include useful information for PC players, they also cover similarly relevant details for console players, who traditionally don’t get mentioned in those reveals. The specs are decently detailed, but more surprisingly – except for a single instance – they don’t include upscaling on PC, another thing games have gotten too comfortable using, even with their lowest specs. Well, here’s something cool. A group of dedicated fans have done some incredible work and revived the Xbox 360 technical beta for the never-released Star Wars Battlefront III  “predecessor,” Star Wars: First Assault. Getting it to run on your PC isn’t the easiest thing in the world and involves a special version of Xbox 360 emulator Xenia, but the end result is a somewhat…

After a long hiatus between Mega Man games, Mega Man: Dual Override is slated to bring back Capcom’s iconic hero. However, Ben Diskin–the actor who voiced the title character in Mega Man 11–has revealed that he won’t be returning for Dual Override because Capcom is refusing to abide by SAG-AFTRA regulations in the next game.”With a broken Blue Bomber heart, I am no longer the voice of Mega Man,” Diskin wrote in a post on Bluesky. “I was asked to return for Mega Man: Dual Override, but only on the condition I work without the protections of a union contract.”According…

This is a post that I’ve known was coming for quite some time, but that doesn’t make it any easier to write. After more than 16 years TouchArcade will be closing its doors and shutting down operations. There may be an additional post here or there in the coming weeks as we try to honor any previously agreed to obligations, and a proper farewell post is in the works too, but as of now our normal daily operations have ceased. The reason we’re shutting down probably isn’t a surprising one: Money. Many of you who have followed TouchArcade for a…

The past is a demon in Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake. With every step protagonist Mio Amakura takes through the abandoned Japanese village she and her sister find themselves trapped in, history is always stalking just closely behind. It’s there to surround her with ghosts of brutally murdered locals. There is no escape from a legacy of darkness; you have to confront it in close-up. For its remake of the 2003 third-person horror…
