It’s worth noting that both OpenAI and Anthropic open-source their coding CLI clients on GitHub, allowing developers to examine the implementation directly, whereas they don’t do the same for ChatGPT or the Claude web interface. An official look inside the loop Bolin’s post focuses on what he calls “the agent loop,” which is the core logic that orchestrates interactions between the user, the AI model, and the software tools the model invokes to perform coding work. As we wrote in December, at the center of every AI agent is a repeating cycle. The agent takes input from the user and…
If your TikTok feed has felt a little off lately, it’s not just you. The Soulslike genre — difficult action games built on the formula established by FromSoftware’s Dark Souls series — is a common sight these days, but back in 2019, when the first Code Vein came out, they were few and far between. Code Vein had the notable descriptor of being the “anime Soulslike” thanks to its unique art style. The sequel, Code Vein II, expands on the story and gameplay of the original, but like its predecessor, it simply hasn’t stepped up to be one of the better Souslike games. Code Vein II is a sequel in name only and doesn’t connect…

Microsoft has fixed a vulnerability in its Copilot AI assistant that allowed hackers to pluck a host of sensitive user data with a single click on a legitimate URL. The hackers in this case were white-hat researchers from security firm Varonis. The net effect of their multistage attack was that they exfiltrated data, including the target’s name, location, and details of specific events from the user’s Copilot chat history. The attack continued to run even when the user closed the Copilot chat, with no further interaction needed once the user clicked the link, a legitimate Copilot one, in the email. The…

To work around those rules, the Humanizer skill tells Claude to replace inflated language with plain facts and offers this example transformation: Before: “The Statistical Institute of Catalonia was officially established in 1989, marking a pivotal moment in the evolution of regional statistics in Spain.” After: “The Statistical Institute of Catalonia was established in 1989 to collect and publish regional statistics.” Claude will read that and do its best as a pattern-matching machine to create an output that matches the context of the conversation or task at hand. An example of why AI writing detection fails Even with such a…
OpenAI may have called GPT-5.2 its “most advanced frontier model for professional work,” but tests conducted by the Guardian cast doubt on its credibility. According to the report, OpenAI’s GPT-5.2 model cited Grokipedia, the online encyclopedia powered by xAI, when it came to specific, but controversial topics related to Iran or the Holocaust. As seen in the Guardian’s report, ChatGPT used Grokipedia as a source for claims about the Iranian government being tied to telecommunications company MTN-Irancell and questions related to Richard Evans, a British historian who served as an expert witness during a libel trial for Holocaust denier David Irving.…
