The Resident Evil franchise has been back to brilliance ever since Ethan Winters shared a tasty meal with the Bakers in Resident Evil 7 biohazard. Having gotten access to Battlefield 6 ten days before the general public as part of the game’s review event, one thing stood out to me more than anything else in the game’s multiplayer sandbox: it takes too damn long to level up. This is usually not a big issue, since everything you do in the game earns you career XP, so you’re bound to reach higher ranks sooner or later. The real problem, however, is how much slower weapon attachments are unlocked. A week on from launch, Battlefield Studios is finally acknowledging that there’s a problem. To see this content…

The laptop market is drowning in hundreds of models, each claiming to be the perfect fit and honestly, it’s exhausting trying to figure out which one actually delivers daily performance without unnecessary extras. If you need a powerful machine that handles real work without drama, this Dell Inspiron 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop (16GB RAM, 1.25TB Storage) checks every box, especially at its current price: Dell rarely drops discounts below 30 percent on its own site, but Amazon just slashed this model to an all-time low of $699, down from $1,999. That’s a 65 percent reduction on a laptop built for people…

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Mega Evolutions are one of the main features, as so many of the Pokémon are capable of Mega Evolution, and it’s a mechanic you’ll need to use to take out some powerful enemies down the line. Some of the Mega Stones can’t be obtained until you’ve progressed through the game, so you may be stuck with a regular old Starmie until you hit that point. You’ll…

Battlefield 6’s core gamemode, Conquest, is getting some adjustments yet again. One day after Battlefield Studios reduced the ticket count across all Conquest maps in order to improve the flow of matches, and prevent them from ending at the time limit rather than with one team winning. The change wasn’t too drastic, but it was certainly impactful on the largest maps in the game. It doesn’t sound like players liked it, however, so it’s being reverted. What would Red Dead Redemption 2 be like if your fights with people and creatures played out like matches in Mortal Kombat? That’s the thought experiment at the center of streamer Blurbs‘ latest mod for the Rockstar open-world game. There’s lots of punching, lots of blood, and some downright nuts fatalities. Blurbs has transformed mod-making into a communal activity by having fans contribute ideas and constructing and testing them in real time as viewers watch on Twitch.  Last time it was a Red Dead Redemption 2 mod that shows you the dying memories of all the NPCs you murder. Now,…

There’s also a fast, new way to raise friendship to get three of Eevee’s evolved forms.
