A fresh Arc Raiders patch has arrived, bringing a host of new fixes to several exploits players have recently been relying on to do things they’re not supposed to, and bypass certain mechanics to get into areas without having to go through proper channels. The patch is fairly small, and surprisingly doesn’t include any buffs or nerfs to anything in particular. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. Today is American Thanksgiving and I’m one of the many folks (hopefully, dear god hopefully) who is choosing not to celebrate the holiday with a big family gathering. It sucks, but it’s a necessary sacrifice so that we can all be safe, healthy, and alive to spend next Thanksgiving together. This story originally ran on November 26, 2020. We’re republishing it today for Thanksgiving 2025. Even without the specter of covid hanging over us, it’s been a long time since my extended family gathered together and had a good old-fashioned Thanksgiving meal. I miss my mother’s turkey and my aunt’s…

Magic: The Gathering‘s Secret Lair x Monster Hunter drop was revealed just last week. It featured a number of characters and creatures from the hit Capcom multiplayer series and a Sol Ring promo card in each drop. But fans were not impressed. The card selection for the reprints was criticized for being uninspired and having nothing to do with the series it was drawing from. In fact, the fan reaction was so loud that Wizards of the Coast has done something completely unexpected: take the Secret Lair drop back to the drawing board. “We heard loud and clear that you…
You thought you’d never see the day, but as the Super Mario 64 to PS1 port proves, nothing is impossible in the eyes of a fearless modder. Nintendo’s Super Mario classic, originally released in 1996 on the Nintendo 64 console, can now be played on a PlayStation — or a PlayStation 1 emulator, rather. The Super Mario 64 to PS1 port was made by a user named “Malucard” and is available on GitHub. The port was tested by a YouTube channel named Video Game Esoterica, which shows a functioning but clunky version of the original game. As Malucard mentioned in…
