The Arc Raiders “Movie Night” quest, much like “The League,” gives an insight into what the folks of Speranza get up to during their downtime. For this quest, you need to obtain both a stack of VHS tapes and a portable TV, then return them both to Apollo. The VHS tapes are easier to get because they’re in a set location, the portable TV… not so much. Here’s how to complete “Movie Night” in Arc Raiders. ‘Movie Night’ quest steps in Arc Raiders Here are the three quest steps for “Movie Night” in Arc Raiders: Deliver a portable TV to…
An Assassin’s Creed Shadows developer has claimed that Ubisoft suspended him after he spoke out against the company’s recent return-to-office policy.Level designer and 13-year veteran of Ubisoft Montreal David Michaud-Cromp made the claim on his LinkedIn page that Ubisoft placed him on a “three-day unpaid disciplinary suspension,” which was put to him “as being related to public comments I expressed regarding the company’s return-to-office policy, and based on an alleged breach of the duty of loyalty.”Earlier in January, Ubisoft announced a drastic restructuring of the company including studio closures and game cancellations, as well as likely layoffs in the future.…
Code Vein II, the sequel to Bandai Namco’s 2019 anime Soulslike, is here. While it’s pretty easy compared to other games in the genre, the bosses can still be challenging if you’re careless or don’t level up properly. Code Vein II adds a new open world for you to explore, giving you more options to progress throughout the game. Here are some useful tips to surviving its post-apocalyptic vampiric world. 1. Ride your bike In the opening hours of Code Vein II, you’ll obtain your bike/motorcycle that can be whipped out at almost any time when you’re out traversing the…
There are plenty of valid critiques of the streaming era. Sure, it’s convenient that you can watch the Stranger Things finale at any time on any screen, but with that convenience comes shorter TV seasons, brutally long waits between those seasons, and a tidal wave of forgettable slop. And one of the biggest issues with streaming can be summed up in two words: Surf Dracula. Meme’d into existence with a 2021 tweet, the term Surf Dracula describes the trend of streaming shows that promise a major moment up front, only to drag out the build-up for an entire season or…
If you ask most Fortnite players about the current state of the game, they’d probably be thrilled–outside of technical issues. Recent updates include a detailed Simpsons season with Springfield Island, along with major crossovers featuring The Office and South Park. Despite the onslaught of content, Fortnite design director Ted Timmons says Epic is ready to “step up” its efforts on the live game.”We’re stepping up our focus on the live game,” Timmons wrote in a post on X. “We know that as we prepare for the exciting seasons ahead of us the underlying foundations of the game must still be…
I love this new YouTube video that uses mods to recreate the life of an NPC citizen of Gotham City in Batman: Arkham Knight because it lets me experience something I’ve always thought about: What it must be like to live in the same place as a superhero. Living in Gotham City, the urban sprawl that superhero crimefighter Batman calls home, must be wild. Going out to grab something from the nearby convenience store could lead to you getting a front row seat for Batman’s next gang fight. Or he might just run past your window in the middle of…
Highguard, the new free-to-play PvP “raid shooter” from Wildlight Entertainment, has barely been out for a day, but it’s already been a wild ride for the new FPS. Though critical reception is already glowing, player response runs the gamut. And arguably toughest of all: It’s become a meme. Currently, its Steam user score is sitting at “mostly negative,” with 32% of nearly 15,000 player reviews giving the game a thumbs-up. Players have complained of long match queue times, getting kicked from the tutorial, and other server issues. More still said the game also performs poorly, with frame rate drops and…
