Super Mario Bros. Wonder getting the Switch 2 Edition + expansion treatment in March feels like Nintendo making the correct call, and I couldn’t think of a better game to be getting that bit more attention on the new system. I’ve mostly enjoyed the second season of Amazon and Bethesda’s live-action Fallout TV show. One thing I hated about this new season, however, was that each new episode premiered at midnight. Thankfully, Amazon is changing this release schedule for the rest of the season. Return to Silent Hill hit the big screen on the weekend, but this adaptation of the beloved Silent Hill 2 video game isn’t doing too well critically or commercially in the US. After weeks of waiting, Arc Raiders developer Embark has officially unveiled the first few months of the game’s 2026 roadmap. The plan is split into four months, covering January to April, collectively dubbed Escalation. For some reason, Nintendo decided to hold a “Direct” presentation on a Sunday about the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Despite FromSoftware’s reputation for challenging gameplay and esoteric design, the open-world RPG was breaking out into the mainstream.
