“The Final Puzzle” challenge in Resident Evil Requiem requires you to “let the sweet pair hear the voice.” The challenge’s conditions are fairly vague as you don’t know who the sweet pair are and what voice you have to listen to. However, the solution to the puzzle is much more complicated than that, as you’ll need to collect The Girl’s Severed Hand, learn astronomy, and… flush toilets? Here’s how to complete ‘The Final Puzzle’ challenge in Resident Evil Requiem and let the sweet pair hear the voice. [Ed. note: This guide contains spoilers for Resident Evil Requiem.] ‘The Final Puzzle’…
World of Warcraft’s latest expansion is just now rolling out globally after an early-access period for Epic Edition owners, but players think they’ve already found where Blizzard’s MMORPG will go next.Major WoW patch updates always add a new zone, and it seems one of Midnight’s future patch areas, possibly for patch 12.1, is already in-game. As pointed out by user Aggnicia_MightyGnome on the WoW subreddit, players can briefly access an island shrouded in fog off the coast of the new Zul’Aman zone before being automatically teleported away. The zone is named Atal’Utek and even appears to have its own general…
Pokémon Pokopia, the upcoming Animal Crossing-style cozy game set in what might be a post-apocalyptic version of the Pokémon world, is coming to Switch 2 on Thursday, March 5. Reviews went live this morning, and they are glowing. As of this writing, Pokopia is sitting at a 90 on Metacritic, the highest aggregated score of any game in the series on the site. Several reviewers are saying it’s a great proof of concept for The Pokémon Company to let more partner developers take on the monster-taming series, as the Dragon Quest Builders team at Omega Force has pulled off something…
Resident Evil Requiem has a complicated story, though that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has kept up with the series over 30 years. Capcom’s survival horror games are filled with evil organizations and similarly-named viruses that can be tough to keep straight. At first, Requiem seems to be getting away from all that with its new character, Grace Ashcroft, but it soon becomes clear that’s not the case. In fact, Requiem might be the most lore-intensive game in Resident Evil’s history, thanks to how many loose threads it attempts to tie up in its ending. Even if…
Somehow, Pokemon is officially 30 years old. We don’t know if this is a fun fact as much as a rude awakening, but regardless, it is worthy of celebration. After all, for many of us at GameSpot, the Pokemon series has been a fundamental part of our gaming history. More so than most game series, which are often less frequent with new releases, the Pokemon series has remained a constant in our lives–forever evolving (get it?) alongside us and acting as a sort of companion through all the various stages of our lives. As much as we’ve grown and changed,…
Last week the Los Angeles Times reported on a surprising trend among young people. Physical media sales, DVDs especially, are experiencing a new burst of popularity. After a decade of freefall, enthusiasm among Gen Z halved a 20 percent sales decline in 2024 to just 9 percent in 2025. Stores have noticed. The Times’ Karla Gachet spoke with staff at cultural hubs like Cinefile and Vidiots to discover why 2026 is already shaping up to be their biggest year, with the latter renting a surprising 1,000 DVDs a week. It begs the question, could this pleasant trend take hold in…
Object Pokémon got a bad rap, and have had a tough time shaking it. When Pokémon Black and White ushered in Pokémon’s fifth generation, there was a bit of consternation around the new monster designs. Players argued that some of Unova’s new Pokémon were uninspired, with designers slapping a set of eyes on an ice cream cone or two and calling it a day. While, sure, not every ‘mon can be a 10/10 like Sprigatito or Pikachu, object Pokémon deserve more love. Some of them are really great! And object Pokémon have really been around since the earliest days of…

As the The Sims 4 continues into its second decade, the volume of new content, major expansions, and long-awaited features has grown in lockstep. Unfortunately, that has also meant that, given how old the game is, a few technical problems remain a nuisance. The effort required to fix them is what led developer Maxis to make a commitment to improve the game’s technical state, and the developer has now returned to update the community on what to expect in 2026. In the early hours of February 28th, the U.S. and Israeli military began an unprovoked air strike against Iran after weeks of tense posturing. Sources indicate these plans had been in development for months, despite occurring in the middle of nuclear deal negotiations to replace the one Donald Trump tore up in 2017. Civilian death tolls continue to rise and the scope of this grotesquery has yet to reveal itself. But if you put your chips on the right Polymarket page, you’re in the money. As a new, unfathomable war in the Middle East emerges, Polymarket betters are hoping to…
