Over 548,463 Ford Expedition SUVs are being recalled due to an issue with the center console. The recall covers certain models manufactured between 2018 and 2024 whereby the center console chrome could peel away, leaving behind edges that could cause significant harm to occupants. The documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) show almost 12.8% of the recalled vehicles may have the defective center console.
