Thanks to Jump Festa 2026’s Chainsaw Man event, fans got their first glimpse of the anime following the massive success of the Reze Arc movie.
As posted by the Chainsaw Man anime’s official X account, the Assassins Arc is being animated next, confirmed via its new trailer and key visual. It’s another glimpse at the gorgeous and weird world of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s most iconic opus, it’s here to stay. Poised to be a “sequel” to the Reze Arc, Chainsaw Man’s anime future looks bright.

In the new minute-long preview, alongside shadowy figures passing by a lone Makima at the cinema, Chainsaw Man: Assassins Arc showcases a new shift in the power balance of its world. It’ll feature a new and chaotic saga of brushes with the Darkness Devil, Quanxi, and the single wildest Santa Claus depiction ever.
This next part of the Chainsaw Man story brings fans one step closer to the climax of Part 1, in which Denji and friends encounter immeasurable loss and pay in blood and tears to uproot some truly pernicious threats. It teases visually stunning sequences as the Devils and Fiends encountered by Denji get progressively larger than life.

With the new anime reveal certainly vindicating the hopes of fans expecting a buzzworthy Chainsaw Man season 2 announcement, the Assassins Arc poster did not disappoint. Along with a trapped Denji under Makima’s watchful eye, the poster showcases newcomers to the story like the eldest brother of the American assassins working alongside Quanxi and Santa Claus.
Santa Claus, essentially a hive mind assembled by the Doll Devil, boasts power granted by multiple other Devils, with two of their bodies on the left and right flank. It’s here that viewers will soon grapple with the deadly power of Primal Fears more directly, while Public Safety will see where it stands in the power balance at the end.
