The Kia Soul started off well back in the 2010s, but within 2020 the car started fading off in the market after the debut of its third generation. Now the automaker has announced the discontinuation of the Soul, which will never make it into another model year.

The first generation of the Soul was launched back in 2010, and its production was done in South Korea, and over 1.5 million Soul units have been sold in the US. The 2025 Kia Soul model closes the once-popular boxy Hatchback.

Kia sold over 52,397 units in 2024 and made 40,408 units by the third quarter of this year, which is higher sales than several other Kia models.

For 2025, the Soul was one of the most affordable in Kia’s lineup, coming in at $21,935. With the discontinuation, the entry-level spot will be taken by the Kia K4, and it will start at $32,185.

Only a few units of the Kia Soul are available in the dealership, specifically in the United States, according to Kia, so the model lovers are urged to act faster before it goes off the market.
