55 hours into The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, Too Kyo Games’ visual novel turn-based strategy game, I encountered a particularly touching scene. Two characters, who a few days earlier learned something particularly shocking–one of several moments in the game that recontextualizes the whole experience–get up early and end up watching the sun rise together. It’s a little moment of tranquility, of two people bonding over natural beauty amid a particularly rough string of days, and it landed beautifully. It felt like the game was tapping into something a little deeper, a little more melancholic, than what I’d seen before.According…
The official ratings of the top 52 players in EA Sports FC 26 have been revealed, crowning Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe as the highest rated players in this season’s edition. Salah and Mbappe are 2 of 4 91-rated current pros in FC 26, with current Women’s Balon D’or holder Aitania Bonmati and Barcelona teammate (and former Balon D’or winner) Alexia Putellas climbing back to the top of the tree after what must’ve been a frustrating, but ultimately successful in a sense, season which saw Spain and Barcelona finish as runners up in both the European Championships and Champions League.…

There is a moment so funny and so absurd in Anaconda, that experiencing it on the big screen with a room full of people is worth the price of a movie theater ticket and a popcorn-drink combo alone. This scene has no real bearing on the plot of the movie. I wouldn’t even really consider it a spoiler. However, if you have any interest in seeing Anaconda, please do so before you read any further, because I’m about to describe the moment in detail and then go behind-the-scenes with the director and stars of the film to talk about it.…

The best online co-op games are basically a step up from a group chat, creating a shared experience where it’s you and your pals against the world. They’re not just about gunning down everything in sight or racing to the finish line, they’re about the weird and wonderful benefits of playing with friends–the improvised plans, the in-jokes, that one time your best friend clipped through a wall, and the big boss fight that wouldn’t have been the same if you didn’t have…
It’s been a few days now since the launch of Hollow Knight: Silksong and a few issues are starting to bubble up. One of the most significant complaints has been about the game’s level of difficulty. The original Hollow Knight is/has always been a challenging game, so it’s not exactly a surprise that its DLC-turned-sequel is giving many players trouble. This time, however, it does appear that developer Team Cherry may have overtuned things in the new game. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. The Pokémon Company seems likely to reveal the upcoming Generation X games in February on the series’ 30th anniversary, but if leakers have anything to say about it, Game Freak might not have much new information to give us by the time that showcase arrives. On December 24, a series of new leaks about the games, allegedly titled Pokémon Wind and Wave, began spreading online. We’ve gotten a few waves (sorry) of information since the massive Teraleak in October, but now we know a little bit more about the games’ map, battle gimmick, and have even our first look at…
Tired of Christmas movies already, are you? Well, worry not, here’s is a list of entirely secular movies without a glowing mutant reindeer or a snowman that comes to life from what must be voodoo in sight. From some genuine classics to some not-so-great movies with genuinely great parts, these 10 movies all have one thing in common: They’re leaving Netflix on the same day you’re going to start your new (and likely doomed) fitness routine. So kick back and enjoy before you start breaking a sweat. 10 Taxi Driver (1976) You’ve already seen Taxi Driver, everyone has, but Martin…
