The Division 2 is having a mini-renaissance on Steam this weekend thanks to a massive discount and a recent roadmap outlining the game’s future and all of the content still coming to Ubisoft’s seven-year-old loot shooter. An anniversary event has added fresh rewards alongside a new realism mode that ups the stakes and places more emphasis on headshots than gear score, making it feel more like a traditional shooter than an MMORPG. Realism Mode is a timed event and only available in the Warlords of New York campaign. “You’ll notice the interface has been reduced, placing more emphasis on reading…

Random Select is a column from Polygon about under-the-radar video games. Every week, Polygon asks a writer to check out a game at random, downloading the game without knowing beforehand what it is. The catch? They have to play for at least an hour and report on their thoughts — honestly. This week’s game is the racing game I’m In Love with Your Dead Grandmother. There are games that don’t take themselves too seriously, with silly innocence that makes the most preposterous idea feel like a lighthearted joke, like Hatoful Boyfriend, that pigeon dating simulator. I’m In Love with Your…

Co-op games hold a special place in my heart, they’re some of the most fun, collaborative, and memorable games on the market but they’re sadly few and far between. Thankfully, Green Man Gaming has a new bundle of six co-op-focused PC games like Cat Quest II, Moving Out 2, and more. You can pick up the Better Together Bundle for just $12, which saves you a whooping 90% off the $125 the combined suggested retail prices if you bought the games separately. After a couple of delays, a plagiarism lawsuit, and at least one internal reboot, Bungie’s next big game has officially launched. Marathon, the extraction shooter from the studio behind Destiny, has managed to find a decent, if a little small of an audience. The game’s player numbers on Steam are being compared to its recent free, open weekend, and not in a favourable manner. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. Epic Games is suing a major Fortnite leaker who, it turns out, actually worked for the company. According to the company, Cohen signed an NDA on September 11, 2025, but proceeded to publicly share confidential information in January and February. According to Epic’s court filing, “[Cohen]’s leaks were only possible because he abused…

Bungie’s Marathon is off to the races, and everyone was supposed to have a fresh start after the Server Slam beta test. None of the rare loot gained during Server Slam was meant to cross over into the game’s launch, but for a handful of lucky players, that’s exactly what happened. As demonstrated by an X user going by Nifty n00b (via Kotaku), the loot was waiting for them in the in-game mailbox. Marathon allows players to temporarily lend their items to other players in the game, which are then automatically returned to them through the mailbox. That’s why a handful…

Diablo 4’s next, long-awaited Developer Update finally airs today. This meaty livestream was first announced nearly a month ago, when Blizzard initially revealed that the game’s next class is the Warlock. People have been speculating about Microsoft’s plans for the next Xbox for over a year now and the company’s new gaming CEO just went ahead and tweeted them out. Recently appointed Xbox boss Asha Sharma confirmed the codename for the hardware and, even more importantly, that it will indeed play PC games. But what does that mean? “Great start to the morning with Team Xbox, where we talked about our commitment to the return of Xbox including Project Helix, the code name for our next generation console,” Sharma posted on X on Thursday. “Project Helix will lead in performance and…
