BMW North America recalls over 58,700 vehicles with issues in vehicles’ air conditioning wiring system. Documents filed with the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) show the affected vehicles were produced between the 2024 model year and the 2026 model years. According to the document linked to the recall, the BMW models affected may be equipped with an air conditioning wiring harness that could have been damaged during the replacement of the cabin air filter.
