The Dodge Charger Sixpack Gets Its First Mopar Makeover

We get it—the electric Dodge Charger isn’t exactly the successor fans hoped for when Dodge announced a new version of its beloved muscle car. Fortunately, the company still offers the Charger Sixpack, powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine that’s actually quite good.

This year at SEMA, Dodge is showcasing its gas-powered Charger Sixpack with a range of Mopar upgrades. The concept features new wheels, fresh carbon-fiber accents, an upgraded interior, and—as any proper Charger should—a thick coat of purple paint.

Officially dubbed the Moparized Charger Sixpack Concept, this performance car comes loaded with enhancements from Dodge’s performance division. It wears a Stryker Purple exterior complemented by carbon-fiber accents on the hood, front splitter, and rear spoiler.

The concept rides on five-spoke, 21-inch wheels finished in Dodge’s signature Brass Monkey color, paired with bright orange Brembo brake calipers. Vented fenders are said to improve aerodynamics, while a revised suspension setup lowers the car for a more aggressive stance.

Inside, the Charger features a blend of Katzkin leather with contrasting Tuscany Ink black and Palomino tan accents. Orange and purple stitching add a final touch that helps tie the cabin’s look to the exterior.

Dodge also made a few light performance tweaks, including a custom Mopar cold-air intake and a cat-back stainless-steel exhaust system. Even with these upgrades, though, the Charger Sixpack still makes the same 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque from the factory, powered by the mostly stock turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six.

You can check out the Charger Sixpack concept at Dodge’s booth during this year’s SEMA Show, where it will show up alongside another Mopar creation—the Ram 1500 “The Dude” concept, a modern take on the classic 1970s truck with the same name.
