UGREEN—a known Chinese accessories vendor and, for the past couple of years, an enthusiastic maker of network-attached storage servers—today announced its latest NAS lineup, the NASync DXP GT.
If the name rings a bell, that’s because UGREEN had an existing series called NASync DXP, represented by the DXP6800 Pro. Let’s find out where this new GT lineup fits in and what it has to offer.
UGREEN NASync DXP GT: Two fancy-looking servers with highly integrated hardware
With the first servers released as early as late 2024, UGREEN is a relatively new NAS maker. Despite that, in less than two short years, it has now managed to offer an impressive portfolio of servers, spanning three main series, including:
- The debut DXP Series: Designed for performance, speed, and endurance, this series, launched in late 2024, consists of four servers, ranging from two-bay to eight-bay, including the top-tier 6-bay DXP6800 Pro.
- The entry-level HD Series: Launched in September 2025, this series consists of two essential servers for everyday home storage, including the 4-bay DH4300 Plus.
- The AI-enabled iDX Series, of early 2026: Two powerful servers, including the top-tier NASync iDX6011 Pro, that feature local AI capabilities and are currently available only via a Kickstarter campaign.
The new NASync DXP GT lineup is part of the original DXP Series above. It consists of two servers, the 2-bay DXP2800 GT and the 4-bay DXP4800 GT. There might be more options in the future.
Aside from the number of drive bays, both servers are largely the same, featuring fancy rose-gold trim and 10 10Gbps connectivity. They are also the first UGREEN servers that are powered by an AMD CPU, the AMD Ryzen Embedded R2514, and use an embedded MultiMedia Card (eMMC) as onboard storage (as opposed to SSD) to host UGO Pro, which is UGREEN’s Linux-based operating system for its NAS servers.

NASync DXP GT lineup: Grand Touring performance with high endurance
In more ways than one, the two new DXP2800 GT and DXP4800 GT are upgraded versions, or possibly replacements, of the previous 2-bay DXP2800 and 4-bay DXP4800 Plus, respectively. Among other things, they retain the same physical designs.
In the model names, the thing that sets them apart is the “GT” suffix, which, per UGREEN, is short for “Grand Touring”, the luxury trim in automobiles designed for comfort during long-distance road trips. The NAS maker says the NASync DXP GT lineup is “engineered for both speed and endurance under sustained workloads.”
Compared with previous servers in the original DXP series, the 2-bay DXP2800 GT has better hardware specs than the original DXP2800, but the 4-bay DXP4800 GT is slightly inferior to the DXP4800 Plus. And that also reflects in their pricing.
In any case, according to UGREEN, the new NASync DXP GT servers are “built for smart homes and creative workflows” by “combining high-speed network connections, AMD-powered performance, and reliable local storage in a streamlined pro-grade NAS system.”
Availabity
UGREEN says both the DXP4800 GT and DXP2800 GT servers are now available with suggested US retail prices of $659.99 and $509.99, respectively. However, from now until June 22, 2026, they come with a 20% Early Bird Discount and cost $527.99 and $399.99, respectively.
Overall, the new servers look great, and their pricing, even before the discount, is reasonable considering their specs. It’s safe to say that they will function similarly to previous UGREEN servers—they all share the same UGO Pro operating system.
