Really Good Time – Bob Dylan Was On Pawn Stars in 2010

Really Good Time are building serious momentum following a breakout run that included SXSW showcases, a sold-out headline show at Whelan’s in Dublin, and high-profile support slots with Franz Ferdinand and The Murder Capital. Their transformation into a leaner power trio after lineup changes has sparked renewed interest, with tastemaker attention including praise on BBC 6 Music’s Roundtable. The band’s explosive festival performances — including Iggy Pop’s “In the Meadows” — have amplified word-of-mouth buzz. Streaming traction and growing live demand are positioning them as one of Ireland’s most ferocious emerging acts. “Bob Dylan Was On Pawn Stars in 2010” continues that rise, capturing attention for its sharp title and volatile energy.

Really Good Time are a power trio from Dublin, currently comprised of Wastefellow (vocals/guitar), Ado Tornado (drums), and Jacque le Coque (bass). Since emerging in 2021, the band have built a reputation for chaotic, sweat-drenched performances — from semi-legal farm shows to commanding major Irish festival stages. Often compared to a mutant blend of early Queens of the Stone Age and The Walkmen, their sound is abrasive, angular, and wired to explode. Following the departure of founding guitarist The Dúke, they rebuilt themselves as a sharper, louder unit, distilling their chaos into a focused scuzz-punk assault.

“Bob Dylan Was On Pawn Stars in 2010” embodies their knack for surreal, culturally loaded titles paired with gritty post-punk propulsion. The track surges with distorted guitars and relentless rhythm, balancing sardonic humour with underlying tension. It feels both absurd and urgent — a chaotic snapshot of modern disillusionment delivered with swagger and sweat. As always, Really Good Time aren’t aiming for polish; they’re chasing the kind of communal frenzy that only happens when the noise is loud enough and the floor feels like it might cave in.
