Arlo Parks is a British singer-songwriter and poet from London, England, whose deeply emotive writing and genre-blending sound span indie pop, R&B, folk, and electronic textures. She first garnered widespread acclaim with her Mercury Prize-winning debut Collapsed in Sunbeams and followed with her introspective sophomore album My Soft Machine — both celebrated for lyrical honesty and rich musicality.

Known for her tender voice, literary songwriting, and ability to translate complex feelings into graceful music, Parks has become one of the UK’s most compelling artistic voices of her generation.

“2SIDED” is the lead single from Parks’ forthcoming third album Ambiguous Desire (due April 3, 2026 via Transgressive Records), a record shaped by her experiences in New York’s nightlife and ecstatic creative exploration.

Described by Parks as a song about “yearning and tension” — the spark of desire and the courage it takes to put it into words — “2SIDED” blends moody, nocturnal production with her trademark poetic insight.  It shifts her sound into new territory, embracing dance-inspired rhythms and shimmering atmospheric textures while still centring emotion and vulnerability.
